|Notes:||Started life as a very rare Limited Edition special (only 1500 ever made and majority were in white not silver). I was gifted it from my Dad who bought it new. Competed in club level motorsport prior to a total restoration in 1989. Completed 24hr Round-Britain charity drive in 1989 with Sporting Escort Owners Club. Nicked on first time out at a show - recovered with only steering lock damage after 2 days of publicity blitz. Featured in July 1989 Fast Ford magazine...|
|Fate:||Sold after cost of running multiple motors cripples my finances...|
|Modifications:||RS Front Spolier, rare side skirt / rear valance body kit. Fireproof bulkhead for competition - fitted in boot area. Detachable race harness set. Lowered and beefed up full suspension set. Peco HDR big bore full exhaust system. K&N fitted to modified twin choke webber carb (fully dynod to get max out of stock engine). Electronic Ignition module.
BF Goodrich competition tyres. Added gauges inside for engine monitoring.
