Notes: | A lot of contribution from a previous US owner, and an European friend that helped me with the original kardex file. All 5 previous owners of the car are known for me.
This is all I got so far: 59 356A-T2 Carrera GS Reutter cabriolet #151925 delivered April 30, 1959 to Messrs Hülpert GmbH & Co. Dortmund Germany first owner was: Mr Heinz-Gerd Jaeger Dibergstr. 20 D-4630 Bochum 692/2 P*93107*, at 33.415km the car was equipped with an exchange engine no. 805926 at the factory. I have a letter from Porsche Germany saying that. A new unnumbered engine from an RS60 was installed in the car during the 70s, this engine is now restored to correct specs at Armin Baumann (Europe) with 1600cc and about 140hp. 716 27512, at 33.855km the car was equipped with a new gear box no. 29746 at the factory. I have a letter from Porsche Germany saying that. ivory (5704A)/red artificial leather interior (KLeder rot)/oatmeal/beige As per the actual Certificate of Authenticity I got the following info: Bucket seats Tonneau cover 1 Spyder mirror Side trim moldings Aluminum front deck lid Plastic suitcase for rear lid Corduroy-Linen bag GT bumpers GT brakes The interesting thing they say at the new certificate of authenticity is that the car was delivered equipped with an aluminum hardtop that we know was never produced by Porsche, I believe someone there is misunderstanding it with the aluminum front deck lid. Sonderausführung: Hardtop Plastikkoffer für fond GT-Stosstangem Alu-Deckel Zierleisten Verbreiterte Bremsen 1 persenning (tonneau) 1 Spyder-Spiegel 1 Cordleinentasche (corduroy-linen bag) 1 Schalensitz Owners: Freddy, Brazil - freddy@wipd.com.br; ex Mr. Luay Alawi, UK; ex James Matthew Degnan, CA; ex Dec 95, sold (London auction/eCarCentral), Mar 01, driver, (NET/kardex), ex Lenny Harris, US, ex Terry from International Mercantile, US, ex Mr Heinz-Gerd Jaeger - Dibergstr. 20, D-4630 Bochum, Germany |
